Author's Note: I'm busy already and writing an author's note is that last thing I want to do, this weekend's, there's so much weekend work like, well, read to find out.
Cheers to the freakin weekend, I drink to that. This week has been the
busiest week and to add drama to that, cheers to the freakin weekend.
See what I did there? As soon as I find out the election data I can
relax, well not exactly. This weekend consists of, Friday afternoon, my
grandparents will be at my house, so spending time with them is number
one on my calendar. Second, my brother’s birthday was on Monday and his
family party is on Sunday. So, that means my grandma and I have a lot
of food to make, cake, jello, mashed potatoes all by Saturday night. I
skipped the morning and afternoon of Saturday. Saturday afternoon my
mom has promised to take me shopping because, I haven’t gone shopping in
like forever, and trust me I’m a shopaholic. After shopping my
brother’s lunch at Red Robin begins, he’s spoiled rotten, I’m aware but,
I’m sorta spoiled too, after my grandma and mom helped me out with the
purchasing of clothes from Abercrombie, Delia’s, and Hollister. All my
summer clothes have grown small in quite a short period of time, so that
was our focus of season outfits. That leaves Sunday for eating cake,
watching my brother open presents, and finishing homework. Cheers to
the freakin weekend and my brother’s birthday, cake yah e yah.

Music
Author's Note: Music's motion moves masses.
Gosh, I was just telling someone about the fact that I’m obsessed with singing. Singing makes me as happy as I could be in whatever situation I’m in. I am legit listening to music at this very moment, yes that’s right, right now. If I had to pick a top ten playlist on my ipod the songs would be, not in order because, there’s no way I could pick with the constantly changing artists, beats, genres, lyrics, and songs. They’d be, Somebody that I used to Know by Gotye because, no one can even compare to how I connect to this song, it’s crazy. Boyfriend, jeez Justin Bieber is the one fighting my battles, right next to me, even though me and my bestie joke about Justin Bieber being our boyfriend I swear he’s different than anyone I’ve ever seen, he’s the one that got me through my worst point in life. It stunk but, he helped me along from having a depression problem. Even when I was balling my eyes out, red puffy eyes, I had to sway my arms to and fro. Call Me Maybe, Carly Rae Jepsen, her voice, so pure so sentimental, so symbolising, so understanding. Eyes Open by Taylor Swift, she means something to me all her songs, as soon as they hit itunes I buy them. The next two songs of my choice are not favorite artists of mine, I don’t like either but, the songs I do love. You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful, One Direction, just the truth to this piece is what gets me. Selena Gomez, yes I don’t like her because, she and Justin Bieber have a click, long story actually, I do believe I have a chance and do believe she’s the one that will kill my chance. Anyways, her song Who Says, when it first came out it was the time that I was on the edge of a depression problem once again rejuvenated my self-confidence. Glad You Came, by The Wanted, the beat to this song puts a smile on my face, it’s easy to memorize the lyrics, and that makes the song so sweet to listen too. That’s only seven I know but, I don’t want to have to go into my itunes playlist and find the last three, not because I’m lazy because, I don’t want to cheat anyone, those are the songs that make an impact on me and sure I like others but, these are sentimental.

Pet Peeves
Author's Note: Pet peeves, published, perhaps perceive my piece.
Pet peeves should be defined as, when you tell someone your pet peeve and they purposely continue to do your pet peeve on purpose. Being in that situation is the number one pet peeve of mine, I honestly don’t have faith in anything more obnoxious. I’ve been in this situation many times for example, I told my dad that I just couldn’t stand the sound of a knife scratching across a plate and then he pretends it’s his mission to try to just bug me with that sound every time we eat anything that needs assistance of a knife to be edible. I’m not an over-exaggerating person, in fact if you’re someone who over-exaggerates too much you bug me, anyways I could not stress how long my list is of pet peeves I could write a novel, not even joking about the littlest things in life that just disturb me in too many ways to name. If I were to be dangled above lava, either having to choose a number two pet peeve or be dropped into the lava (because that’s the only perhaps moment I would actually be able to choose a number two pet peeve) I’d have to say my number two pet peeve is when either, I can’t make up my mind, well, either. The explanation to as why I continue to be stuck writing this is because, yesterday in Forensics we did this as a quick fire-drill and some people had a lot of good ideas. Alright, I’m getting off track. Number one, when people bait you, that might be my number one, I could care less, I’m not asking why. Number two, improper grammar, it’s not more fast or more slow, it’s faster, slower. Don’t even get me started on a apple, it’s an apple. This, is quite a long short story, keep in mind if you want me to enjoy speaking to you don’t purposely imply my pet peeve, don’t bait me, and especially don’t use improper grammar.

Why is Everyone Hungry for the Games?
Author's Note: The Hunger Games, it simply keeps you turning pages, there was no competition or thought needed, I knew this was the book I wanted to write my District Writing Assessment upon.
Our future’s vision in the eyes of a majority of our generation embodies, stats reading a gain in population. The president won’t see any necessity to discover a path, including depression to families, to kill twenty-four tributes yearly. In particular not controlling everyone to watch in reminder of their, the Capitol’s, power. Like I said, in the eyes of a majority of our generation, which means Suzanne Collins’s eyes aren’t counted. Suzanne Collins’s book, The Hunger Games in my brain meant the future was to be the exact opposite, in the author’s imagination. Suzanne Collins has a foreign illusion toward writing a novel, which is shown in, The Hunger Games, movie included. Everyone has an opinion but, in my point of view I see her process of writing a best seller, almost exactly.
When I daydream about The Hunger Games, immediately Katniss, the main character, comes to mind. Katniss, she’s a girl and the main character, why didn’t Suzanne choose the usual boy to be the book’s main character? I presume because, half of this novel is based on romance and the other half is based on a battle to the death. Without a girl there couldn’t be romance. That leaves the battle to the death half. Which is new to my taste but, Suzanne hit the mild and spicy act smack dab on the nose. Along with the rest of the astoundingly exquisite book, I came across another point why a lady was her pick of a main character in my hypothesis. Reason being, she wants to prove women are powerful too, like bring twelve districts and a Capitol to tears powerful. Crying isn’t Katniss’s game though, it’s archery and, she’s kill a squirrel with a shot through the eye, good. Hunting isn’t a bias sport gentlemen, Katniss Everdeen proves that. My female friend, Abby, hunts too and she’s shot two deer.
All focus is continuously on Katniss in The Hunger Games, and the next book in the trilogy, Catching Fire. Catching Fire is titled after The Hunger Games, as a matter of opinion. In The Hunger Games, Katniss is nicknamed the girl on fire. Perfect nickname for her, Cinna, her designer for the games, came up with it. He was tired of the coal miner costumes year after year so, he changes it up a little with some fire. Her ensemble was literary lit with flames before the chariot ride. Never cherishing the Capitol for making them act cheerful in the chariot rides, their anniversary game, in the long run pushes her over the limit and she may start a few uprisings. That’s why in The Hunger Games her signature should be, fight fire with fire. Catching Fire, know you should understand. Suzanne incorporated to her readers this sign and I saw the sign clear as day.
The Catching Fire movie is sure to change a few of the main details from the book, just like The Hunger Games movie. Why in the world did Katniss receive the mockingjay pin in a different way? I’m not quite positive why Gary Ross, The Hunger Games director, chose to direct my most beloved installments differentially in the movie which, I didn’t take pleasure in. But, I have a clue. With how Suzanne explained Madge in such specification it wouldn’t have been a simple task to find a look-alike, therefore one of my favorite characters couldn’t give Katniss the mockingjay pin. Hob dealers weren’t described as well so, that’s a compromise Gary made. This was really a downer and that’s another implement to as why the book was better than the movie in my judgement along with some of my beasties.
Everyone has an opinion but, in my point of view I see Suzanne Collin’s process of writing a best seller, almost exactly. She has a foreign illusion toward writing a novel, which is shown in, The Hunger Games, movie included. The Hunger Games is composed by a New York Times Bestselling author and is the number one movie of the year. From reading the volume and watching the movie, Gale would be my choice but, the dying question is, in Mockingjay will Katniss make the right decision?

ANWR, Drilling?
Author’s Note: Document Based Questioning, Should the United States Drill for Oil in Alaska’s Wilderness? That’s the question, for Social Studies we were asked to write an essay revolving around. In seventh grade we are to perform a smaller form of the eighth graders DBQ, that’ll prepare us for High School. With research to back up my opinion here’s what I came up with.
Should the United States drill for oil in one of the major sanctuaries for arctic animals? In one simple word my judgment could be explained; NO! The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, which is the dominant place they have thought to drill in, is 1.5 million-acres for arctic nature to live his or her life cycle. The citizens had an idea for the ANWR to perhaps be a vicinity to lower our gas prices. This mentioning will only cause dreadful cons in the near future. It shall not be destroyed, is what all the research that I’ve gathered proves, but there are recommendations on the other side of our debate. Drilling for oil in the ANWR is horrible advice to our country in my opinion, but it’s only a suggestion, there are additional alternatives.
There are so many ways the Alaskan environment could easily be affected by the United States drilling for oil. Drilling in these areas would spoil the fragile environment and potentially kill many species of life. The national parks would lose their beauty and be unavailable for use by the general public, fi.edu stated. This con fit very well with what’s going through my mind. What’s not going through my mind properly is why our scheme was to drill, it will just build waste of additional oil because in the close years to come the United States will have invented electric cars. Electric cars will help Alaska of all the states the finest because, it’s the largest state. If we do need extra oil in case electric cars take longer than expected to be designed, we can make substitutes. That’s what lake.k12.fl.us suggests. Maybe find a new area to drill from. Why drill in Alaska, why not China, it’s larger than Alaska and would supply more oil? Or another backup would be to discover a technique to save oil.
My secondary topic is the economy, if you assume the atmosphere isn’t going to deal well with the drilling, consider the cost-cutting measure. Why does everybody assume that the drilling will make us more money? I would furthermore like to bring to your awareness, tourist will no longer be fond of vacationing to this state. I also imagined an estimation of the cost to travel the machinery up to Alaska to drill. That’s nuts. Machinery is transported a big number of times to make gas prices go down but, this is diverse. “Gas prices will go down [if the United States drills in Alaska]” a website I visited quoted. The other websites that I’ve visited brought up a point of, gas and tax prices will only rise further in undersized years to help manufacture the environment to how it was originally.
Finally, the economy won’t be the only thing affected by the drilling so will the safety, which is the most important in my head. The native’s critters, plants, and even the Alaskans could have a very likely chance to be injured by the drilling. Emotionally and psychically, it can harm their hearts. Not being able to get up with the sight of gorgeous doe in their backyards, could end in emotional harm to the hearts. Kids can have an even harder time with breathing than adults because their lungs have yet to develop completely which would cause physical damage to their hearts. I have a idea to avoid the harm. In China, which I brought up before, the descent is spread further than Americans across the country. To help safety of harass toward their country, moving closer to each other could assist making that a dream come true. With the parts of villages not being occupied, they could drill from to get the oil we are in need of.
There are additional alternatives, instead of the horrible advice given to our country of drilling for oil in the ANWR. Environment, economy, and safety concerns are highly like to erupt. Choosing a side to consent with wasn’t difficult for me. The government is able to take my recommendation any day.
